What Time Do You Usually Return to Panama City?

Return times from the San Blas Islands to Panama City can vary depending on weather, sea conditions, border wait times, and traffic. That said, we’ll always give you a clear expectation for your return based on your specific trip and departure time.

Here’s a general idea of when you can expect to be back:

• Morning departures from the islands usually arrive in Panama City around 12:00–1:00 PM
• Afternoon departures typically return between 6:00–7:00 PM

Keep in mind that driving through the jungle and mountains to reach the port — followed by the boat transfer — can take time. We build in buffers to keep your return as smooth as possible, but we recommend avoiding tight schedules for return flights or evening plans on the same day.
